Why did Hi-Wire Brewing launch Old North Premium Lager?
We at Hi-Wire are passionate about lagers, and Old North is a way for us to double down on this. This brand is who we are: light-hearted, approachable, an embodiment of who we are as a company, and fiercely loyal to the place we live and work: the Old North State. The MillerCoors brewery in Eden, NC closed in 2017, and we realized there was no longer an approachable, well-priced, Premium Lager being brewed on a large scale in North Carolina. We want to fill this hole.
